Description
Under a bright moon, Wellfleet Bay becomes something entirely different.
On this guided evening walk, you'll move through the trails as the sun sets over Cape Cod Bay and the moon brightens in the eastern sky. A Wellfleet Bay naturalist leads the way, tuning your attention to the sounds and movements of owls and other nocturnal wildlife. You'll discover the specific adaptations that help these creatures thrive after dark in conditions most of us rarely experience.

What To Expect
Expect to walk less than 1.5 miles on sanctuary trails at a slow pace designed for stopping and taking it all in. The program takes place outdoors, starts before sunset, and ends in low light.
