Description
Cape Cod's coastline is never the same twice. On the Marconi stretch of the Outer Cape, barrier beach gives way to pine-oak forest.
Starting from Marconi Beach, you'll cover 3 to 4 miles with a Wellfleet Bay naturalist in search of the remains of historic Fresh Brook Village. Stops along the way make room for taking in the birds, wildlife, and cultural history layered into this landscape.
Plan on a long winter afternoon outdoors, with water breaks and time to eat built in.
