Description
The trails at Wellfleet Bay come alive with music, storytelling, and coastal fall color every October. Stroll the sanctuary grounds and encounter local musicians, performance artists, poets, and storytellers performing trailside, with a new lineup each hour so you can drop in anytime or stay for the full afternoon.
Families will find plenty to explore, from a nature-themed puppet show and self-guided story walk to the sanctuary's Nature Play Area and the Ice Cream Café cart. The event winds through nearly 1.5 miles of trails with views over Cape Cod Bay and is free with regular sanctuary admission for all ages.
Register in advance to enter a drawing for a gift basket.

The event takes place outdoors along the sanctuary trails. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear for walking approximately 1.5 miles. Dress for the weather—it is always cooler along the coast. Folding chairs are welcome.
