Description
As the sun dips toward the tree line, Great Pond in Eastham becomes one of the most peaceful places on Cape Cod to be on the water. This guided sunset kayak winds slowly around the edges of this protected freshwater kettle pond, with a Wellfleet Bay naturalist sharing the unique natural and human history of the landscape as the day transitions to evening.
Watch for wading birds, herring, and musk turtles as the light softens and the pond quiets around you. The pace is relaxed and reflective, allowing ample time to soak it all in.
