Description
There's something truly special about watching a full moon rise over the still surface of a protected freshwater pond. This guided evening kayak on Great Pond in Eastham takes you along the quiet edges of a classic Cape Cod kettle pond as day fades into night, with a Wellfleet Bay naturalist at your side sharing the pond's natural and human history.
Keep your eyes open for wading birds, herring, and musk turtles as the light shifts and the pond comes alive with the sounds of evening. The pace is slow and mindful—this is a paddle for soaking it all in, not powering through.
