Fish Printing: Art, Science, and a Cape Cod Keepsake

Description

Part science, part art, and entirely fun. This one-of-a-kind program introduces the fascinating fish of Wellfleet Bay through the ancient Japanese technique of gyotaku.

Start by meeting live fish up close and discovering how their body shapes, fins, and adaptations help them thrive underwater. Then pick up a brush and paint a fish replica in a vibrant array of colors, pressing it onto paper or your own white t-shirt to create a wearable, washable keepsake from your time on Cape Cod.

It's a creative, curious, and memorable way to explore the diversity of life beneath the surface—perfect for adults and families with kids of all ages.
