Description
Head to the sanctuary as a new creature takes the spotlight. We'll kick things off with an up-close introduction to a live animal that calls Wellfleet Bay home—whether it's a crab, turtle, whelk, fish, clam, or frog—before heading outside to explore the habitat where that creature actually lives.
A naturalist will share each animal's survival secrets and what makes it so well-suited to life at the sanctuary, with artifacts and hands-on moments woven in throughout. The theme changes with the season and the wildlife, so no two sessions are quite the same. Appropriate for all ages, with program content geared to the group's mix of kids and adults.
