Description
Set sail from Sesuit Harbor aboard the Albatross and head out into Cape Cod Bay for an evening of marine discovery. A Mass Audubon educator uses sampling nets and scientific techniques to pull up fish, crabs, shellfish, and plankton for you to see and handle up close, while explaining the delicate food webs that hold this remarkable ecosystem together.
Whether you're examining a massive Spider Crab, scanning the horizon for seabirds with binoculars, or simply taking in the sunset over the bay, there's something for every level of curiosity on this two-hour cruise. You'll also learn about the impacts of marine plastics and how to make more conscious choices as a consumer within local fisheries.
