Description
Experience the sights, sounds, and smells of early fall as you leisurely walk the trails, keeping an eye out for fungi, birds, wildflowers, insects, and other natural delights. Barred owls, chantarelles, and beautiful gentian wildflowers are just some of the things you might see on this guided walk with author-naturalists Lawrence Millman and Brian Cassie.

Bring binoculars and a hand lens if available or borrow from us. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots. Expect a leisurely pace over some uneven ground and modest inclines.
