Description
Owls have unique anatomic and behavioral characteristics that make them exceptional nocturnal hunters. Start the evening indoors with a short introduction to the behavior, adaptations, and habitats of our native New England owls, then head out on nearby trails after dark to listen and look for the owls that call the sanctuary home.
You'll leave with a better understanding of these iconic birds, with tips and tricks for looking and listening for them on your own.
