Description
Experience the full cycle of the seasons at Wachusett Meadow month by month. Along with an expert naturalist and other nature enthusiasts, deep dive into pieces of the sanctuary's natural history with an exciting new topic every month. Begin with animal tracks in January and winter trees in February, followed by the courtship flight of the American Woodcock in March. Throughout the upcoming months, explore spring wildflowers, beavers, dragonflies, ferns, Monarch migration, stone walls, and so much more.
Each session starts with a brief indoor introduction, then at least 90 minutes out on the trails to get an up-close look at the current nature happenings.
