Description
Snow, mud, and soft ground all keep a record of what moved through the sanctuary overnight.
On this family hike, a naturalist will help you to identify those tracks and signs, from the neat line of a fox trail to the chewed twigs and scat that give clues to who has been feeding nearby. Pick up some tips and tricks for telling one set of prints from another and learn what these animals are doing to get through the coldest weeks of the year.
You'll leave with the skills to interpret some stories left behind in the snow or mud.
