Ledges, Boulders & Beaver Ponds: A Rocky Hill Family Hike

Trails at Rocky Hill wind through extensive woodlands to rocky ledges, beaver ponds, and large boulders, making every outing feel like an adventure. A Mass Audubon naturalist will guide you and your family, sharing stories about the ecology and wildlife of the sanctuary while the autumn landscape unfolds around you. From peak foliage to signs of animals on the move, fall is one of the best times to explore this stretch of connected protected land in Central Massachusetts.

Instructions

Please dress for the weather and be prepared to hike up to 2 miles. Trail conditions range from easy to moderate with some short, steeper sections. Portions of the trail may be wet or muddy following heavy rainfall. Rocky surfaces may be slippery due to water, wet leaves, and ice.
