Description
Wachusett Meadow's wooded and open trails offer a richly varied landscape for birding, and fall migration turns the sanctuary into one of the most rewarding patches in Central Massachusetts.
On this morning bird walk, we'll move at a leisurely pace with a knowledgeable leader who will help identify what they see and hear along the way. Whether it's your first bird walk or you're an experienced watcher, you'll learn something new about the birds that call Wachusett Meadow home.
With fall migration upon us, the diversity of birds will be both exciting and shifting. By the end, participants come away with sharper identification skills and a better sense of what birds are in the area and why.
