Why do some insect babies live in the water? Search for some macroinvertebrates (insects you can see with your eyes) that live in different places at Wachusett Meadow. Learn their names, life cycles, what special features let them live underwater, and why they are important for a healthy ecosystem.

Be prepared to be outside for most of the time. Classes will be held outdoors except for extreme inclement weather. Health forms are required for drop-off students. Families are always welcome to remain on the sanctuary.
