Description
Join this 3-day Field School and celebrate all that Spring has to offer at the site of the largest habitat restoration in the Northeast. See firsthand why Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary has become the model for future restoration projects.
Our field studies will explore resident and migratory birds, reptiles and amphibians, insects, wildflowers, ferns, and freshwater macroinvertebrates. This course offers an in-depth look at each topic with hands-on workshops throughout the weekend giving participants a better understanding of the habitats and the wildlife of this evolving sanctuary.
Independent registration is required for our Field Schools in Salt Marsh Ecology (June), and Waterways by Kayak (September).
