Description
Head out at dusk in search of American Woodcocks and one of spring's most remarkable natural displays. Woodcocks put on this display for only a short stretch of the spring, providing a narrow window to see it for yourself.
Watch a male timberdoodle call from the ground, then launch into a spiraling flight and return with a soft, whistling descent back to earth. Learn how these charismatic birds live, what the restored landscape at Tidmarsh offers them, and why protecting their habitat matters.
