Description
A winter full moon transforms Tidmarsh's open, restored landscape into something luminous. Stroll the sanctuary trails with a naturalist guide as you learn about the folklore, science, and ecological significance of the full moon and pick out the bright winter constellations overhead. Discover how the wildlife of Tidmarsh responds to the rhythms of the lunar cycle, as you look and listen for signs of nocturnal wildlife.
Slow down, observe, and connect with the natural world after dark. Restoration work at places like Tidmarsh helps bring back dark skies, giving you unobstructed views and the rare opportunity to experience the sanctuary bathed in soft, silvery moonlight.
