Description
Beavers are the largest rodents in North America and one of very few animals that are able to modify their environment. Have you seen the signs that beavers are living in our ponds and wetlands; they abound at Stony Brook. Join us for a walk on the grounds looking for beavers and their signs. Bring your flashlight and we'll cover the lens in red to preserve our night vision before we head outside.
