A Nature Year at Stony Brook: Winter (3 Months)

Description

Three sessions, three distinct chapters of winter phenomena at Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary.

December opens with the details of winter twigs, buds, and galls; January brings the tracks, traces, and ecology of winter wildlife at its peak; and February closes with owls, one of winter's most captivating presences in the field.

Each session begins inside with a short introduction before heading out for at least 90 minutes of active exploration on the sanctuary's trails and boardwalks.

Checking registration status.
