Description
As master engineers, beavers shape the landscape at Stony Brook with intricate dams and sturdy lodges that support their colony.
Start indoors learning all about beavers and make a beaver craft to bring home. Then, follow the naturalist leader outside to look for the real evidence along the trails: gnawed stumps, lodges, and dam.
Every month, Tiny Trekkers connects young learners to the natural world, building the curiosity and care that grows into a lifetime of environmental stewardship.
