Description
Spring at Stony Brook means frogs and salamanders are back! Amphibians have already moved into their spring mating areas - vernal pools. Explore these temporary ponds found at Stony Brook with a Mass Audubon Educator who will teach you how to look for evidence of wood frogs and spotted salamanders, use nets to find insects and other small animals, and discuss the fragile nature of these important habitats.
