Description
Discover the wildlife that call Pleasant Valley home at this family-friendly hike on the Pike's Pond All Persons Trail. Search for signs of beavers, look for birds and frogs, and explore the tiny creatures that live in the pond. This is a program geared toward families, so all registrations require at least one adult and one child.
This one-hour program welcomes participants of all abilities and takes place in its entirety on our All Persons Trail. This trail is 0.4 miles out-and-back (0.8 miles total) with a 0-7% grade and surfaced with crushed stone. Benches and multi-use seating areas are available at regular intervals along the trail. An all-terrain Freedom Chair and Rollator are available to borrow at no cost; call the Pleasant Valley front desk to reserve, or request this equipment at the front desk on arrival.
Walk-ins are welcome! If you haven't pre-registered, sign up at the Pleasant Valley front desk when you arrive.
