Description
In the depths of winter, when darkness falls early, the sanctuary takes on a completely different character after dark.
This evening program starts with a short indoor introduction to owls and the other nocturnal wildlife of the Berkshires before heading outside with a naturalist to explore the fields, forests, and wetlands for night shift happenings. Listen for owl calls, learn to identify nighttime mammals sounds, discover what these animals need to thrive, and learn about the conservation work supporting owl populations in the region.
Even when sightings aren't guaranteed, the walk reveals a wilder, quieter side of Pleasant Valley that most visitors never see.
