Description
As winter settles in and the evenings come early, the sanctuary takes on a completely different character after dark. This family-friendly evening program starts with a short indoor introduction to the owls of the Berkshires, then sends you outside with a guide to search the fields, forests, and wetlands for nocturnal wildlife during the night shift.
Your naturalist will guide you through owl and mammal sound identification, share what owls and other wildlife need to thrive, and explain the conservation work that supports owl populations in the region. Even when sightings aren't guaranteed, the walk reveals a wilder, quieter side of Pleasant Valley that most visitors never see.
