Description
As the sun drops and the water quiets, the night shift in nature begins. This leisurely canoe trip explores Buckley Dunton Lake's sheltered coves and inlets at dusk, with time to pause, listen, and watch for wildlife that's more active after dark.
If skies are clear, you may see the full moon rise and reflect across the water as you learn about nocturnal habitats and the animals that use them. Expect a relaxed pace with frequent stops totaling an hour of paddling at the magical hour after sunset.
