Description
As evening settles in, bats begin their nightly flight over open meadows. This family-friendly program begins with a short, welcoming introduction to bat natural history and common misconceptions, then moves outdoors to watch and listen for bats during prime twilight hours.
Depending on conditions, your naturalist may use a bat detector to help 'translate' bat activity into sounds you can experience. You'll develop a new appreciation for how bats support healthy ecosystems and simple ways to help them close to home.
