Home School at Oak Knoll: Junior Naturalists (Ages 7-8)
Description
Designed for homeschool students who are ready to go a little deeper. This small-group Wednesday series explores monthly nature themes through guided trail walks, close wildlife observation, and hands-on outdoor activities that develop scientific thinking and genuine environmental curiosity.
Sessions run three hours, almost entirely outdoors, with Oak Knoll naturalists creating space for student-led questions and unexpected discoveries alongside planned curriculum. Topics include Changes in Nature, Animal Classification, and the Water Cycle, with the sanctuary serving as a living classroom that changes with every visit.
