Description
Whether you're just dipping your toe into birding or are looking for more reasons to enjoy your favorite birds, this program takes a deeper dive into the local avian community. Each session will begin with a seasonally focused indoor presentation on topics like bird physiology, life cycles, unique adaptations, and the evolutionary influences on habitat that birds provide. Our introductory presentation will be followed by an outdoor field session to apply what we covered.
Warbler identification can be challenging due to the number of plumage patterns and fleeting glances, often of their undersides. Discover warbler habitat preferences and marathon migration routes, learn a logical framework for identification, get tips on making the most of limited views, and find out the best places to view warblers.
