Description
In this travel series, we meet at a unique, specified destination, to walk and bird the trails together.
To sweeten the deal, we'll throw in some of Doug's legendary home-baked scones.
Wompatuck State Park in Hingham spans 3,526 acres of forest, streams and ponds. There are 12 miles of paved trails along with another 40 miles of woodland trails. Due to the vast acreage of forests this is an ideal place to see all types of wildlife including a wide variety of bird species. The park is known as a birding hotspot especially during spring migration.
