Description
Some birds are worth driving for. Meet up at a wildlife sanctuary in southeastern Massachusetts to walk the trails with a naturalist, sharpen your identification skills, and fuel the morning with a batch of legendary home-baked scones.
Head to Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary for coastal waterbirds, scanning the water for the ducks, loons, and grebes still lingering before they head north. Learn the field marks that separate them and the strategies they use to get through a New England winter.
