Destination Birding with a Scone: North Hill Marsh

Description

Some birds are worth driving for. Meet up at a wildlife sanctuary in southeastern Massachusetts to walk the trails with a naturalist, sharpen your identification skills, and fuel the morning with a batch of legendary home-baked scones.

Wander the wetlands of North Hill Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary in Duxbury, watching trunks and branches for nuthatches and Brown Creepers working the bark. Learn how these small birds forage in opposite directions on the same tree and how to pick them out by sound.

Checking registration status.
