Birding with a Scone: Allens Pond

Description

Some birds are worth driving for. Meet up at a different wildlife sanctuary in the southeast to walk the trails with a naturalist, sharpen your identification skills, and fuel the morning with a batch of legendary home-baked scones.

Spend the morning at Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary in South Dartmouth, a 620-acre mosaic of stunning salt marsh and upland habitat. Learn about the unique life histories of the Saltmarsh Sparrow, Osprey, and late-season shorebirds as your guide brings you to the best spots on the trails.
