A Birding Year at North River

Description

This year-long series follows the full avian calendar at North River Wildlife Sanctuary, covering fall and spring migration, raptors, winter flocking, woodpeckers, corvids, warblers, swallows, rails, herons, and much more.

Led by a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist, each monthly session builds field identification skills, ornithology knowledge, and an understanding of bird conservation alongside a community of fellow birders.

Sessions begin indoors before heading out for a field session in the habitat most relevant to that month's topic. It's the most thorough way to learn the birds of this exceptional South Shore wildlife sanctuary.
