Description
North River Wildlife Sanctuary in autumn is full of things worth paying close attention to, and this three-month series gives you a dedicated afternoon each month to do exactly that.
A skilled Mass Audubon naturalist leads each session around a seasonal topic: butterflies and dragonflies in September, mustelids in October, and the nature of oaks in November.
Each session begins indoors with a brief introduction before heading out for at least 90 minutes on the sanctuary's trails, building natural history knowledge alongside a community of curious adult learners. It's a wonderful way to deepen your connection to this landscape through the best months of the year.
