Description
Tune in to the late summer evening natural soundscape at North River. Find out which insects and animals produce this chorus and why, how, and when each species calls.
Discover the specialized anatomy behind sound production and find out which creatures are most likely to be heard at different hours of the evening. Listen for the high-pitched squeaks of flying squirrels, the rustling of small animals, or the "katy-did" chants of katydids, turning a quiet evening into a nature hunt.
