A Nature Year at Moose Hill - Winter (3 Months)
Description
Immerse yourself in a winter of local natural history. With a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist as your guide, experience the cycle of the seasons at Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary. Gain extensive natural history knowledge, form community with like-minded, curious adults, and receive the many benefits of spending time outdoors.
Throughout the winter, we'll explore explore wildlife survival techniques, raptors, and signs of wildlife.
Winter 2026 Schedule:

Second Friday of each month, December 2025 - February 2026.
December 5, 10 am to 12pm: Wildlife Winter Survival Techniques
January 8, 10 am to 12pm: Winter Raptors
February 6, 10 am to 12pm: Signs and Tracks of Wildlife

We will usually start inside with an introduction and then head out for our adventure in the field which will be at least 90 minutes outside. We'll travel mainly on trails and boardwalks, actively exploring and experiencing various habitats and sanctuary spots.
