A Nature Year- Fall Series

Description

Immerse yourself in a full year of local natural history. With a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist as your guide, experience the cycle of the seasons at Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary and gain extensive natural history knowledge-all while receiving the many benefits of spending time outdoors. Each month, you will focus on a special topic, natural community, or seasonal phenomenon. In autumn, learn about insects, mushrooms and lichen, and mixed flocks. As the temperatures drop, explore wildlife survival techniques, raptors, and signs of wildlife. During spring, we'll study woodpeckers and wood frogs, vernal pools, and spring migration and other signs of warmer days approaching. Finally, spend the summer delving into the world of tree frogs and turtles, milkweed, and reptiles and amphibians.

Make the most of your relationship with nature-join today.
