Beginner Friendly Family Bird Walk

Description

Do you and your little one love looking at birds, but wish you knew more about them? This beginner-friendly walk will introduce the whole family to the birding basics needed to take your appreciation to the next level.

Out on the trails, you'll learn how to use binoculars, explore field guides and birding apps, and discover the key clues that help with identification: shape, size, color, sound, and behavior. You'll begin to notice how season, weather, and the time of day affect who's out and about, making every outing a new adventure. Leave with a deeper understanding of our feathered friends so you can spot them in your own backyard or local green spaces.
