A Nature Year at Moose Hill: Winter (3 months)

Description

Explore what makes winter a captivating season at Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary in this three-month series for curious adults. Each month, a skilled Mass Audubon naturalist guides you through one of winter's most compelling topics: the night sky and winter constellations in December, the world of owls in January, and the art of reading animal tracking and signs in February.

Sessions begin indoors with an introduction, then move outside for at least 90 minutes of active exploration through the sanctuary's varied habitats. Throughout the season, you'll build real natural history knowledge, connect with like-minded learners, and deepen your relationship with this special place. Topics may shift slightly depending on what nature provides.
