Description
The word raptor refers to a bird that seizes or grabs its food. Birds of prey like Bald Eagles, Snowy Owls, Peregrine Falcons, and Rough-legged Hawks are just a few raptors that take up residence on New England's coast every winter. Find out why they chose to winter on the beach, where to view them, and how to confidently identify them alongside some of Mass Audubon's year-round resident raptors.
This standalone program is part of the online Winter Birding series.
