Owls of Massachusetts: Research & a Visiting Owl

Description

How does owl research happen? Hear from an owl researcher about a multi-year Saw Whet Owl monitoring and banding project done in Lincoln, MA. We'll cover how researchers are studying and protecting owls and how that data is informing conservation practices. Meet a Mass Audubon owl wildlife ambassador virtually.

This standalone session is part of the online Owls of Massachusetts series. Register for the full series before Jan. 20 and get the three sessions (Jan. 20: Owl Behavior, Habitats, and Conservation, Feb. 3: Meet the Owls of Massachusetts, Feb. 17: Owl Research and a Visiting Owl) at a discounted price.
