Description
What owls live in your neighborhood? Learn about the seven owl species that can be found in Massachusetts, their adaptations and behaviors, and how to identify them by sight and sound. Each species has a unique niche and relationship to habitat, including those found in urban and suburban communities. We'll cover year-round owl residents and seasonal visitors.
This standalone session is part of the online Owls of Massachusetts series. Register for the full series before Jan. 20 and get the three sessions (Jan. 20: Owl Behavior, Habitats, and Conservation, Feb. 3: Meet the Owls of Massachusetts, Feb. 17: Owl Research and a Visiting Owl) at a discounted price.
