Sustainable Landscaping Certificate Program

Description

Join a community of fellow gardeners, outdoor-lovers, and environmentalists in learning to create sustainable and ecologically friendly landscapes and gardens. Whether you are working with 10 inches or 10 acres, if you're curious about sustainable landscaping, this program is for you.

The program begins with a series of bi-weekly online sessions throughout the winter and spring. When the weather warms up, you will get the chance to visit, learn from, and work on various sustainable landscaping projects with Mass Audubon around the state.

Finally, you'll design your own sustainable landscaping project. This could involve creating a new sustainably landscaped area; writing a plan to help improve an existing one; spending time volunteering on a project at a Mass Audubon sanctuary or with another organization.
