Description
Massachusetts bird species have been monitored for over 100 years. In the past decade, researchers have focused on the specific impacts of climate change on local bird populations. Review the basics of climate change and its effects on bird habitats, ranges, and the timing of seasonal migrations and behaviors. Peek into Mass Audubon's State of the Birds project, a decades-long study of changes in Massachusetts’ bird species and habitats. Learn about the actions we can all take to address climate change with a focus on helping birds.
