Description
Massachusetts has a mosaic of wetlands which supports a rich diversity of wildlife and provides critical services and functions that keep our communities healthy and safe. We'll introduce a variety of freshwater wetland habitats and their keystone wetland wildlife species and explore the science and hope of ecological restoration to heal damaged wetlands over time, including inspiring local success stories. Learn how wetlands protection succeeds in Massachusetts, how the regulatory framework is being updated, and what you can do to protect wetlands.
Each Wetlands 101 session stands alone, but if you register for this full series before it starts on October 2, 2025, you get all 4 sessions listed below for the price of 3.
