Description
Get outdoors, connect with fellow educators, and and immerse yourself in inquiry-based science this summer! Nature School is an opportunity for K-8 teachers to meaningfully engage with the Massachusetts Science Frameworks. Participants will practice field science and gain confidence in inquiry-based learning methods through hands-on exploration of local habitats, conducting field research and designing investigations to bring back to their classrooms. A follow-up session in November will allow participants to share and reflect on their experiences.
Earn up to 34 PDPs. 1 optional graduate credit is available for extra cost, due upon initial registration.
Full scholarships are available for Massachusetts Teachers Association members. Apply by May 25th: https://forms.office.com/r/S8PXTCuE8w
