Birdwatching Basics: Fundamentals

Description

Birdwatching is a hobby you can take almost anywhere, from backyards to cityscapes, forests to coasts, within Massachusetts and far beyond.

In this introductory course, explore the ethics, history, classification, and basics of birdwatching so you too can take up one of the fastest growing hobbies in North America. You will also learn about the tools that help beginner and advanced birders alike, from binoculars and scopes to field guides and apps.

This program is part of the online Birdwatching Basics Series. Each session stands alone, but if you register for the series before it begins, you get all four sessions for the price of three.
