return to search

Description

Take a close look at the colorful growths covering trees, rocks, old fences, and soil, and find out why they are far more fascinating than they first appear.

Gain an appreciation of the beauty and ecological significance of lichens and come away with resources for continuing to learn about them on your own.

This program is part of the online Nature of Winter Series. Each session stands alone, but if you register for the series before it begins, you get all four sessions for the price of three.
