Conservation in Action Certificate Program

Join a community of curious, like-minded folks and gain valuable resources to engage with conservation efforts across the state. From the choices you make in your everyday life to promoting climate action in your community, this program will teach you how to engage in conservation work on every level.

Each week, you will learn best practices for engaging with others about climate issues and solutions, and how to most effectively help advance conservation policy. Session topics include but are not limited to:

• Land Protection and Ecological Restoration
• Environmentalism, Environmental Justice and Environmental Advocacy
• Community Scale Conservation and Grassroots Conservation Work
• Climate Impacts and Solutions

At the end of the 11 weekly online sessions, you'll be introduced to an array of in-person opportunities where you can further develop your skills and gain experience working on one or more conservation projects.
